Thrifty Business

Happy hump day beauts! I have something that I am super excited to share with you on Sunday, so stay tuned!!! So, Wednesday's are my days I volunteer at the free clothing bank that we have in downtown Olympia! This clothing bank helps the homeless in our city, and also equips them for job interviews, meetings, and just an overall self-esteem boost! An upside to volunteering and going through the clothes is that a lot of the stuff that is too fancy for day to day wear or just not in season anymore I get to go through😍 If you would have asked me before if I would have thought half my closet would come from here, I would have called you insane. But, seeing how I am not allowed to have a job in the recovery program I'm in I have had to change my ways a bit but let me tell you I have gotten much more creative and thrifty in my finds and I LOVE IT! 

So if the old me sounds a lot like the current you, go check out a thrift shop, especially one that gives the benefits to a cause you admire because that's twice the fun. You get cute stuff, you couldn't find anywhere else anymore and they can support people who are in need. (Not to mention your bank account or spouse will thank you and your new thriftiness!)
